The University of Surrey is offering PhD Positions in Astrophysics under the supervision of Professor Justin Read and Dr Noelia Noel. These posts are open to students of UK/EU nationality.

Study Subject: The University of Surrey offers PhD positions in the areas of “dark matter” and “galaxy formation & evolution with resolved stars”, with further projects available also in the areas of “star clusters”, “near-field cosmology” and “gravitational wave emission from merging black hole binaries”.

Scholarship Award: There are two funded PhD positions available.

Eligibility: Applicants must have a master’s degree or equivalent in physics, mathematics, astronomy or astrophysics at the time of start of the PhD. The posts are open to students of UK/EU nationality.

Nationality: Students of UK/EU nationality are eligible to apply.

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have master’s degree.
