ACT foundation in now accepting applications for Cares Community and Second Year Scholarship Programs. Cares Community Program is for graduating seniors from high schools and later one is for current undergraduate students who plan and qualify to enroll as second-year students (sophomores).

Account Control Technology Foundation Scholarships are offered to support for education and the greater community.

The ACT Foundation mission is to improve the future of students and the greater community by offering financial wellness and debt management education, mentorship and support.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations.

Course Level: Scholarships are provided for current undergraduate students and graduating seniors’ students.

Study Subject: Scholarships are offered in various subjects provided by universities.

Scholarship Award: Up to twenty five awards will be granted each year of worth $1,000

Eligibility: Applicants to the ACT Second Year Scholarship Program must –
-Demonstrate financial need.
-Be current postsecondary undergraduate students.
-Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
-Plan and qualify to enroll as second-year students (sophomores) in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university.

Applicants to the ACT Cares Community Scholarship Program must –
-Demonstrate financial need.
-Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
-Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the upcoming academic year.
-Be current high school seniors at a high school in one of the counties listed for the following communities:
-Bakersfield, CA: Kern County
-Woodland Hills, CA: Los Angeles County
-Mason, OH: Butler County, Clermont County, Hamilton County, Warren County
-San Angelo, TX: Tom Green County
-Dallas, TX: Dallas County, Denton County, Collin County

Nationality: USA students can apply.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: -For ACT Cares Community applicant must be current high school seniors at a high school in one of the mentioned counties in detail.
-For ACT Second Year Scholarship applicant must be current postsecondary undergraduate students.

Supporting Documents: Students must complete the application along with a current, complete transcript of grades. The Financial Data section of the application should be completed by parents, guardians, or by the applicant if independent. Independent is defined as one who is not claimed as a dependent by the parent/guardian for tax purposes. Information should be from a completed tax return filed with the IRS.
