Eligibility: To be eligible for the scholarship the applicant must be:
-PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
-Strong background in distributed systems, networking, programming, and operating systems
-Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
-Very good critical reasoning
-Very good knowledge of C++, UNIX, and some scripting language
-Strongly motivated, with a desire to experiment and explore
-Good publication record in top academic conferences and/or journals

Scholarship Description: Network Systems Lab at KTH Information and communication technology in Kista, Sweden is announcing a postdoctoral scholarship. This position comes with a large degree of freedom to define one’s research agenda. Some general topics include (but are not limited to) geo-distributed systems, software defined networking, network functions virtualization, and cloud computing in general. As a member of the research group, you will be involved in experimental systems work, interaction with several PhD students, and grant-writing. You will have an option of collaborating with PhD students working on the existing PROPHET ERC project that aims to dramatically change the way distributed systems are developed and deployed.
